The Agency has been instructed by a premier Offshore law firm to assist with its search of an Associate to join the firm’s highly-ranked Banking & Finance Practice in Jersey.
   
As the successful Banking & Finance Associate, you will advise both borrowers and lenders on offshore banking and finance matters, including fund finance, real estate finance, structured finance, acquisition finance, debt capital markets, and general banking. The work is complex and cross-border, with clients including real estate and private equity sponsors, debt funds and major global financial institutions from the top of the London and wider European markets.

The role is based in St Helier, the capital of the beautiful island of Jersey. The island offers a relaxed beachfront lifestyle, perfect for lawyers looking to enjoy their time outside of work! Requirements:
  
1PQE minimum banking & finance experience at a reputable onshore or offshore law firm; Admitted to practice in Jersey or an eligible jurisdiction such as England & Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Australia, or New Zealand Willing to relocate to Jersey A strong academic record; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail; Strong work ethic and flexibility.     
Remuneration: a high market rate salary with 20% maximum income tax + generous bonus potential. You would also receive 25 days’ annual leave, premium healthcare coverage and other ancillary benefits such as a generous relocation package and a pension.
