One of Cayman’s leading law firms is currently looking for a Legal Secretary to join its Corporate and Funds practice.

Full Job Description

You would be working within a friendly and collaborative team, supporting senior fee-earners in a mix of legal and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

Creating, editing, amending and storing of correspondence and documents in the appropriate electronic matter file; Producing annual filings with various government departments including CIMA; Conducting due diligence and related searches; Maintaining current billing and collections systems, which includes liaising with lawyers, onshore counsel and clients; Assisting with lawyers’ diaries, events and travel arrangements.   Requirements:

Previous experience within a law firm as a corporate legal secretary; Completed legal education/certification would be beneficial; Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential including the ability to relate to people at all levels; Ability to work proactively, effectively prioritise and multi-task; Familiar with document management and billing softwares.    

Salary: US$70,000-US$90,000 per annum plus overtime, full premium health cover, generous annual leave and other benefits as per labour law.
