The Agency has been instructed by a top-tier litigation specialist offshore law firm to assist with its search of a Senior Associate to join the firm’s Litigation team in Jersey, due to growth. The role offers world-class work and excellent career progression, perfect for an ambitious lawyer looking for a change of scenery from London but maintain their career trajectory.
   
The role consists of advising on a range of high-value, complex and cross-border contentious trusts disputes, insolvency matters, financial services litigation, fraud and asset tracing, and shareholder disputes, amongst others. As Senior Associate, you will handle your own caseload and work across all the Partners, who are top litigators in the offshore world. Business development is encouraged, as is mentoring juniors and helping build out the practice.
  
Culturally the firm is small and close-knit. Your colleagues will be extremely high-calibre and the partners are on-hand and approachable. Target hours are very reasonable, and there is real career progression on offer.
  
The role is based in St Helier, the capital of the beautiful island of Jersey. The island offers a relaxed beachfront lifestyle, perfect for lawyers looking to enjoy their time outside of work! Requirements:
  
4PQE minimum litigation and dispute resolution experience at a reputable onshore or offshore law firm; Ideally, exposure to contentious trusts and estates disputes Admitted to practice in Jersey or an eligible jurisdiction such as England & Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Australia, or New Zealand Willing to relocate to Jersey A strong academic record; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail; Strong work ethic and flexibility.     
Remuneration: a high market rate salary with 20% maximum income tax + generous bonus potential, a premium healthcare coverage and other ancillary benefits such as a generous relocation package and a pension.
